Sign out of your Goole Account on your Android Device

If you have not sent the device

To sign out of your Google account on an Android device, follow these steps:

1. Open the “Settings” app: You can typically find the Settings app in your app drawer or by swiping down from the top of the screen and tapping the gear-shaped settings icon in the upper right corner of the notification panel.

2. Scroll down and tap on “Accounts” or “Accounts & backup,” depending on your device and Android version.

3. In the Accounts section, you’ll see a list of the accounts linked to your device. Look for and tap on your Google account.

4. On the next screen, you’ll see your Google account details. Tap the three-dot menu icon (usually in the top-right corner) or the “Remove account” option, depending on your device and Android version.

5. You will be prompted to confirm that you want to remove the account. Tap “Remove account” or “Remove” to confirm.

6. You may need to enter your device’s PIN, pattern, or password to verify your identity and complete the sign-out process.

Once you’ve followed these steps, your Google account will be signed out from your Android device. Keep in mind that signing out of your Google account will affect various Google services on your device, such as Gmail, Google Drive, Google Photos, and others. You can always sign back in with your Google account if you need to access these services again.
